On August 3rd 2012, Nickelodeon announced that the creator of iCarly and Victorious will be making a pilot for a spin off of both shows called Sam & Cat. The show stars Jennette McCurdy, Sam Puckett from iCarly, and Ariana Grande, Cat Valentine from Victorious. The pilot was produced in August 2012, and the series was picked up for a 20 episode season on November 29th 2012, with the series premiering in 2013. The series will begin production in January 2013.

Plot

The pilot suggests they will be roommates who launch a babysitting business for income. The show was picked up by Nickelodeon on November 29th, 2012.
