Cammy is a Capcom video game character in the Street Fighter series. She first appeared in 1993 in the game, Super Street Fighter 2, and is known to fans as the 2nd SF female. She has also appeared in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs SNK and Capcom vs SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001. She also starred in a Psykio/Capcom game named after a signature move of hers, Cannon Spike, released in 2000.
History
Cammy hails from England. At a young age,her parents were killed by the infamous Shadoloo boss, M.Bison. She was then taken away from England and transported to the Shadoloo bases,where she underwent grueling body-enhancing experimentations and rigorous training. With her new found fighting skills,Cammy was regarded as Shadoloo's best assassin,and her loyalty to Bison was very strong. One day,though,Cammy failed a mission. Bison was most displeased,he brought Cammy back to England and left her on the doorstep of the British Secret Service,unconcious. It was the Colonel at the academy, Col.Wolfman,who discovered her and took her into his care. She seemed to have suffered anmesia after she awoke. He trained her in Special Forces,a form of army martial arts dealing with close combat techniques, and she quickly rose to the head of the class. Unaware of her past life,and a scar as one vague reminder, Cammy now fights in order to find out about her true past. In Cannon Spike,however,Cammy was brought in to stop an elite group of terrorists in the future.
Apperance
Cammy has undergone a couple of changes over her video game career. She started out in the SSF timeline,at a tender age of 19,working for Delta Red,part of the British Secret Service. After a hiatus of about 2 years,she ws re-introduced in 1996 in the game, X.Men vs Street Fighter. This time,she was 16 years old,and she wears a light blue Shadoloo outfit,completely different from her SSF2 outfit,which was an army green bikini-type outfit. She reminded in her Shadoloo variation throughout the rest of her gaming career,not counting Cannon Spike,of course. In Cannon Spike,she was 21 years old,and wearing an outfit similar to her SSF2 incarnation,except she has on kneepads and rollerblades,as well as a couple of machine guns.
