Pangaltı (spelled Pancaldi by Italian writers of 19th century) is a quarter of Şişli, Istanbul, inhabited mainly
by Levantine Christians. The enclave is home to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, the Saint James Armenian Hospital and Pangaltı Catholic Cemetery, the largest Catholic cemetery in Istanbul.
