This is not true. I undid some obvious vandalism, and then this person restored the vandalism, claiming I'm a sockpuppet. I'm not. Even if they think that, that can't make repeatedly re-vandalizing the article okay. I saw people on Tumblr saying people were messing with it, and I saw it myself, so I fixed it.

Temporary semi-protection: 1 IP has been repeatedly changing the date and deleting the section for Akon's upcoming album, "Stadium". Akon has stated in interviews that the album will be released somewhere in June but the IP keeps changing the release date to random dates that are not true. Temporary semi-protection: 2 IPs (could be the same person, as they're in the same range) repeatedly keep readding the complete car list, even though they are a violation of WP:GAMECRUFT as a list of concepts, which cars can be listed under. Also, the IPs still refuse to discuss on the talk page. The IP has placed an argument at the talk page, but the arguments are rather weak, as they say that they will add it back if it gets removed again. ZappaOMati 02:13, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

Declined For being linked to the front page, only roughly 3 editors were producing vandalism/spam within the past month (and they were promptly blocked). This is relatively low, even for a normal article. In addition, content on the front page is usually not protected because we're trying to uphold the philosophy of being an "encyclopedia that anyone can edit". I understand it can be frustrating to have vandalism edits here and there but between the anti-vandalism volunteers and cluebot, it something that can be managed without protection. Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.

• To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
• Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.

Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
• Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Misplaced Pages:Suggestions for COI compliance), the {{Edit COI}} template should be used.
• Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Misplaced Pages:Requested moves, not here.
• If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
• This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.
