Spanish unionism is a political ideology in Spanish politics which favours the continuity of the Kingdom of Spain as a unitary state or nation. The ideology opposes Spain's peripheral nationalisms, particularly those in Catalonia and the Basque Country.

Unionism is usually promoted by the Spanish People's Party, whilst its opponents, the Spanish Socialists, are usually seen as more sympathetic to Spain's nationalist movements.

Nationalist parties are currently in charge of both the Catalan and Basque parliaments, whilst in Galicia, Valencia and the Balearics, the People's Party, a staunch opponent of Spain's nationalist movements, is in power. However, nationalists in Spain need not necessarily support independence.

Spanish unionist often oppose decentralisation and devolution, and criticise the modern Spanish State of Autonomies.
