Ella Yelich-O'Connor, known by her stage name Lorde, is a 16 year old New Zealand singer-songwriter. She released her first EP, The Love Club, in December 2012 which reached #1 on the NZ charts and #39 on the Australian charts. In 2013, her single Royals debuted at #1 on New Zealands RIANZ singles charts for 3 weeks and featured on the Australian charts.
Personal life
Lorde was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently in Year 12, attending Takapuna Grammar School on Auckland's North Shore.
