Wes Funk is a Canadian writer. Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he has published three novels to date, with a memoir scheduled for publication in 2014. He also hosts a weekly television series, Lit Happens, on Shaw TV's services in Saskatchewan.

Funk grew up as a gay, pop-cultured obsessed kid in a rural Mennonite household in Saskatchewan, and this has been a huge theme in his books.
