Sunset at Montmajour is a 1888 landscape painting by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. It is the first full-size painting by Van Gogh to be discovered since 1928. The landscape had been in the attic of a Norwegian collector who bought the painting in 1908. The painting was described in a letter to Van Gogh's brother, Teho, stating he had painted it the previous day, 4 July 1888.
