He was born as Rocco Tano on May 4th, 1964 in Ortona Mare, Italy. He was the student of Jimmy Garrido, and learned everything from him. He is also know as 'the Italian stallion'.
He frequently makes shoots abroad, in Montreal, Russia, Brazil and various Eastern European countries. In his movies, he seems to consistently prefer anal intercourse. Over the years, he has developed a cult following in the pornographic community. He has been in 1,300 films.
In June 2004, Siffredi declared that he would quit acting in porn, and focus on filming and producing. His reason was because of his children. He said, "My children are growing up, and I can no longer just say 'Dad is going to work to make money for the family.' They want to know more."
