Capital Combat was an NWA PPV held on May 19, 1990 in Washington, DC. It was technically a WCW PPV, but the NWA name was still being used at this time. Capital Combat was replaced by SuperBrawl in 1991.

- "The Samoan Swat Team" (Fatu & Samu) defeated Tommy Rich & Mike Rotunda.
- Paul Ellering (with The Road Warriors) defeated Theodore Long (with Doom) in a hair vs. hair match.
- "Mean" Mark Callis (with Paul E. Dangerously) defeated Johnny Ace.
- The Road Warriors & Norman the Lunatic (with Paul Ellering) defeated Kevin Sullivan, Cactus Jack and Bam Bam Bigelow (with Oliver Humperdink)
- "The Midnight Express" Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane defeated NWA US Tag Team Champs Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk to win the titles with Jim Cornette in a cage.
- "Doom" Ron Simmons & Butch Reed (with Theodore Long) defeated NWA World Tag Team Champs The Steiner Brothers to win the Titles.
- "The Rock 'N Roll Express" Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated "The Fabulous Freebirds" Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin in a country whipping match.
- Lex Luger (with Sting (on crutches) & El Gigante) defeated NWA World Champ Ric Flair (with Woman) by Disqualification in a Cage Match when Ole Anderson lifted the cage via the controls so Arn Anderson & Barry Windham could interefere.
