Didymelaceae Leandri is a family of flowering plants that is no longer accepted as a distinct family in the most accepted system of plant taxonomy, the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group III system. In the APG III system, the single genus, Didymeles, belongs to the family Buxaceae under the order Buxales in the eudicots. The family had been recognised by a number of systems of plant taxonomy over the past few decades.

The APG II system of 2003 allowed the option of segregating this family, unplaced as to order and among the basal lineages of the eudicots. This represents a change from the APG system, of 1998, which did recognise the family.

The single genus, Didymeles, probably has two species of evergreen trees restricted to Madagascar and the Comoro Islands.
