Recently, My Sister is Unusual (最近、妹のようすがちょっとおかしいんだが。, Saikin, Imōto no Yōsu ga Chotto Okaishiin Da Ga., lit. "Lately, My Little Sister's Been Acting A Bit Strange, But."), also known as ImoCho (妹ちょ), is a Japanese manga series by Mari Matsuzawa, serialized in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age since November 9, 2010. An anime television series adaptation is scheduled to air from January 2014. It will also be adapted into a light novel written by Kougetsu Mikazuki, published on January 18, 2014 under Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. A live action film adaptation will premiere in the spring of 2014.
Plot
In the romance comedy, a girl named Mitsuki Kanzaki lives with her step-brother Yuya after her mother remarries. One day, Mitsuki is possessed by the self-proclaimed spirit of a young girl, Hiyori Kotobuki. Hiyori (in Mitsuki's body) must fall in love with Yuya to move towards the "Gates of Heaven."

- The protagonist. She has been living with her stepbrother, Yuya since her mother's second marriage. She had a bad relationship with her real father, that's why she is so cold toward all men, without any exception. She's possessed and haunted by Hiyori's ghost and forced to help her pass on by helping her experience "lovey-dovey" situations with Yuya; if she doesn't Hiyori says she'll die and go to hell with her. The possession caused a chastity belt to appear on her, which she cannot take off except in the bath and toilet, and then only at the moment it's absolutely necessary, after which it appears again. Played by Tenka Hashimoto in the live action film.

- Mitsuki's stepbrother. He is the average Japanese high school student. Yuya's goal is just have a fine sibling relationship with his new little sister.

- The spirit of a dead girl, who is possessing Mitsuki. The only thing she remembers from her life is her love for Yuya.

- Yuya's childhood friend. She was an older brother for Yuya when they were young. She has a crush on Yuya
