How do I make the reference section of an article split into two columns? Jerry Pepsi (talk) 02:59, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
- Use {{Reflist|2}} to make two columns. Technical 13 (talk) 03:15, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Subcategorization
Please review Your attempts to remove redundant categories are laudable and I personally agree with them but there is a convention to include all films by nationality in the upper-level categories. See e.g. Category:Italian films. I think it's a bad idea but it's a pretty well-worn bad idea. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 14:54, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Vandalism
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to List of dramatic television series with LGBT characters, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.

Your recent editing history at List of dramatic television series with LGBT characters shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —C.Fred (talk) 21:51, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Advice from someone slightly more experienced
As we have disagreed a few times at AFD, you need not take this advice, but I earnestly encourage you make sure you fully understand Misplaced Pages's deletion policy (with special attention paid to its sections WP:DEL#REASON and WP:ATD) before you select established articles for deletion. I do not wish to sound preachy, but deletion is really a last resort and used only for the truly unsalvageable and only when alternatives have been exhausted. These are discussed at WP:DEL and in detail at WP:BEFORE. You've been around for nearly a year and have made almost 3,000 edits, but there is no shame in asking for advice and there are others who have been here for many years who would be happy to help. See WP:COMMUNITY, WP:PRESERVE, WP:WIP, WP:IMPERFECT and WP:IMPROVE. Hope you have a good 2014. Happy New Year. Schmidt, 10:54, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, I am acquainted with the relevant policies and I don't believe I have made any deletion nomination that runs afoul of them. I always check multiple sourcing possibilities before nominating anything and if I find appropriate sourced material then I don't make the nomination. I think my track record on AFDs supports that I know what I'm doing. Jerry Pepsi (talk) 19:05, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Charlie's Angels film characters
Please limit your discussion to why the article should be kept or deleted. Discuss content, not editors. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 04:59, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- As you seem to have ignored my friendly reminder (above), pleaswe consider this a warning: The AfD is for discussing whether or not the article in question should be deleted enot. Discuss content not editors. If you believe another editor's edits are problematic and are unsure where to address the issue, please ask. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 15:25, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
