December 2013
Please note that what I returned and you reverted is the title of an external article. May I please advise you to be more attentive in the future. Thank you.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:01, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
@Ymblanter: Thank You. Thanks a lot. I was browsing from my mobile and I pressed the rollback button by mistake before I could even see what it was. I was going to revert my edit asap before I saw that you had already done it. Then I thought of coming to your talk page to say thanks but you had already left me a message. Once again thanks. Do reply. - Jayadevp1311:08, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Christ said, "I and my father are one", and you repeat it. Yet it has not helped mankind. For nineteen hundred years men have not understood that saying. They make Christ the saviour of men. He is God and we are worms!

Yes Jayadev, I will be careful. I was new, unaware of many things, and I just concentrated on article writing than the rules and tools. Now I have got connected to experienced Editors like you who will be of immense help. That time I had felt alone, frustrated, angry when it was deleted repeatedly without reasons (first on UIDAI page, then on Aadhaar page). I had put 2 months of high effort in reading hundreds of documents, news and data sources, compiling and converting that into Article of general interest.
Currently I am concentrating on Anti-corruption and E-governance in India, and Aadhaar is the pivot of it. We can collaborate. I can be alternatively reached at my mobile number if you say yes.
@Ravishyam Bangalore: It was too obvious. Anyone would have got angry if s/he was in your situation. I will try to help you whenever time permits. I am in Class 12 and I don't think I have much time though. Currently X-mas Vacations are going on so I am able to contribute more. I don't think reaching by mobile will be a good idea especially since I am in the final year of schooling and my parents are keeping a strict watch on my activities :-( By the way is Karnataka your native place? If yes and if you watch movies then you could give some suggestions for the List of Indian film series if possible. I don't know why Turnitpro or Notabede are replying at Talk:Aadhaar. Maybe that they have taken a festive break. Regards. - Jayadevp1306:37, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Well, it would be better to discuss personal info out side public page. I can be reached on ravishyam9@gmail.com. Awaiting your email.

I am working with the list type article List of Indian film series. These are the problems I am facing with regard to that list.
I am having to number the series manually. The use of # to number the series is not feasible since I am using * to mention about the films in the series. The film series have been listed according to the date on which the first film of the series was released. Manually numbering them is creating a problem especially when I find some series with the first film in them released before those in other series. I would have to renumber all of them again. This is a very painstaking function as the no. of series keeps on increasing.
If you notice then I have not used even a single external link as reference. Is it necessary in that list since all the info mentioned can be verified by going to the wiki link if required. Will it create problems for the article in future (like speedy deletion, etc.) due to lack of references?
Per Misplaced Pages:Lists_(stand-alone_lists)#Citing_sources, It is generally expected that obviously appropriate material, such as the inclusion of Apple in the List of fruits, will not be supported by any type of reference.
I'm not an admin, but looking at this page history, I'm pretty confident that the page should be move-protected. There might also be a semi protection added, and all participants be reminded to stick strictly to WP:BRD. No page should be moved, especially as edit warring, while it is being discussed on AFD. Moreover, if the suggested remedy was just moving the page, it ought to have been a requested move than an AFD.
I think you should request for a page move protection at RFPP and let the discussion at AFD be completed.

Hello Jayadevp13: Thanks for all of your contributions to improve the encyclopedia for Misplaced Pages's readers, and have a happy and enjoyable New Year! Cheers, ƬheStrikeΣagle14:18, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

@Ale0119: I am of course not trying joke here bro. If I have not got things wrong then reggaeton's vocals include rapping and singing. So I believe that a raggaeton artist can rap too. - Jayadevp1302:16, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
I read the article. But the point is that Daddy Yankee is a reggaeton musician who also sings rap, but it is not a rapper.--Ale0119 (talk) 02:53, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
@Ale0119: Might be. I don't know but your edits have been removed by yet another Reviewer. Now a personal advice from me. If you revert the edit by the latest reviewer again and the entire cycle repeats once again, you will get blocked for violating the 3RR rule. - Jayadevp1303:42, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
Daddy Yankee is a reggaeton singer, not a rapper. why is it so difficult to understand?, and really need a consensus on this?--Ale0119 (talk) 23:50, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
@Ale0119: Sometimes it happens that a reviewer might not be as experienced in the field as you are but might think that you are wrong especially since you are new and are changing a thing which has been there from the beginning. Let me tell you what you should do. Start a talk page discussion about the matter and achieve consensus for your edit there. You can also leave a talk page message to the major contributors of the article to speed up the process. Then make your edit again. No reviewer will then have the right to revert you but yes, you should have achieved a consensus with multiple editors. - Jayadevp1300:52, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Even though you didn't mention it in the edit summary, your latest changes to Daddy Yankee will still be considered a revert. - Jayadevp1301:02, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Help deleting talk archive redirects
This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page.
I request you to delete these talk archive pages since they have been moved to the correct location by me and are now mere redirects. The new location can be seen even when the page is deleted.
Some, if not all, of the titles you mention have existed for a long time, in some cases for over 5 years. It is possible that one or more people may have links to them somewhere, and deleting the redirects would inconvenience those people. If, on the other hand, nobody has any links to them, then leaving them in existence does no harm. There is therefore no reason to delete the redirects. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:34, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
I would guess that it's more than 90% likely that they aren't required. In fact, even the archive pages themselves are likely to be rarely consulted, let alone the redirects, but there is just a chance they may be useful to someone, so we may as well leave them. That is, in fact, the reason why the speedy deletion criterion for implausible redirects specifies that it applies only to "recently created" pages: the longer a page has been around, the harder it is to be sure that there isn't someone somewhere with a link to the page saved somewhere. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:53, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
Is it possible that I be blocked from editing any part of English Misplaced Pages till June 1 2014? It is my final year of school studies and I am not able to concentrate. Every time I sit to study, I keep thinking what I should do next. If you block be, it would be a much needed wikibreak. There is a WikiBreak Enforcer present but I have found a way around it. My heart doesn't permit me to vandalise Misplaced Pages, a project which I have been trying to improve till now to get blocked. Please don't let a student destroy his future career prospects for Misplaced Pages. If you accept my request then please wait for my final confirmation. Regards and Thank You for coming here. - Jayadevp1304:20, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
No problem. Sorry to hear the wiki-addiction bites. Please read my terms for self-requested blocks carefully first, then confirm here or on my talk that you agree to them, and then I'll block you. (When I get up in six hours or so at the earliest; it's night here. Take your time, I'll be watching this page.) Bishonen | talk04:55, 4 January 2014 (UTC).
Thank You for accepting my request. I accept your terms. The 3rd condition is absolutely necessary to keep me away. Good Morning by the way. - Jayadevp1307:22, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
@Bishonen: Thank You. I just came back to make some final edits (I promise I won't evade block again) and I also swear that the edits made by this IP before Jan 4 2014 are not by me. And one more thing, the future edits made by this IP (after 30 minutes maximum) will not by me since BSNL is never going to allocate this IP to me again. But I think that this IP will get auto-blocked since I am going to login to change my Misplaced Pages notification email preferences. I am laughing since the location of this IP according to this and this is really far away from my real life location. Regards & Happy Editing! - 117.199.176.190 (talk) 17:21, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
