Hello, I'm Toccata quarta. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Misplaced Pages experience! Thank you. Thank you for trying to keep Misplaced Pages free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism are not considered vandalism under Misplaced Pages policy. Misplaced Pages has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please read Misplaced Pages:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Toccata quarta (talk) 12:07, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

The 3RR report that you filed has been closed with a warning to you. See WP:AN3#User:Toccata quarta reported by User:Zabadu (Result: Submitter warned). Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:00, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Plot summaries don't require citations, as the work itself is understood to be the source except when there certain intractable disagreements. --Ring Cinema (talk) 20:10, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Diffs
Zabadu, I don't think you're too stupid for wiki; diffs can be very confusing before you get used to them. And it didn't much matter that you didn't provide the right kinds of diffs in your 3RR complaint, as the admin reviewing the complaint could quite easily see all that had happened (=Toccata quarta's reverts and your reverts) by looking at the history of the page. I don't think anybody minded about the diffs, although experienced users are expected to provide them.
Anyway. If you want to learn how to create diffs, in case you need them in the future, see the Simple diff and link guide. Bishonen | talk 01:06, 7 February 2014 (UTC).
Do not create, add, maintain, insert, or restore hoaxes on Misplaced Pages, such as you did with the article Talk:Robert Palmer (singer). Hoaxes will be caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Misplaced Pages is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Misplaced Pages – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Misplaced Pages. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Misplaced Pages to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Do not promulgate the Geraldine Edwards hoax on Misplaced Pages. Binksternet (talk) 18:48, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
