Courtney Porter Orazine is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Clay, Alabama who was named Miss Alabama 2011.
Biography
Entering the state competition as Miss Leeds Area, Porter won the title of Miss Alabama on June 11, 2011, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Ashley Davis. Porter's platform was the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization that provides after-school programs for at-risk young people. Her competition talent for Miss Alabama was tap dance to "I Got Rhythm".
Porter was Alabama's representative at the Miss America 2012 competition in Las Vegas. Porter was named a Top-12 Semi-finalist after she was chosen by her fellow contestants to remain in the competition after not initially placing in the top 12.
Porter is graduate of Clay-Chalkville High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Auburn University. In June 2012, she joined the United Way of Central Alabama as a Relationship Manager. On May 4, 2013, she married Scott Orazine. The couple live in Argo, a small town in St. Clair County, Alabama.
