Rollback

(add requestview requests)
Please familiarize yourself with Help:Reverting and Misplaced Pages:Rollback before making a request.Misuse of the feature, even if unintentional or in good faith, may give cause for it to be removed.
To make a request, please follow the instructions below:

NOTE: It is unlikely that users with fewer than 200 mainspace edits will be granted the use of this tool. Please consider enrolling at the Misplaced Pages:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy to learn more about handling vandalism.

  1. Fill in the form below, replacing "Reason for requesting rollback rights" with a brief reason for requesting the right. Do not make any other changes. Do not sign the request – your signature will be added automatically.
    1. If you do not see the form, go back to the page, and click "add request".
  2. Please wait for your request to be approved or denied, checking back periodically so you can respond to any queries.
  3. If you would like to withdraw your request, use the {{withdrawn}} template with ::{{withdrawn}} ~~~~
Requests that do not meet the above criteria will be delayed or removed.

Sorry, please be aware that unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.

Administrator notation templates
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:Misplaced Pages:Requests for permissions/Rollback}}).

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

::{{subst:RFPR|option}} ~~~~

The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.
Result Code Normalized code

Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only {{{X}}} edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|exp|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|moreedits|X}} ~~~~
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Misplaced Pages:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~

I'm interested to have rollback role and i have also reverted many articles that were vandalised, Becoming part of anti-vandalism is new role which i would love to have it and support the[REDACTED] to avoid much damages to articles, But having Rollback feature will help me to work faster on reverting vandalise. Thank you Prince Sulaiman 18:28, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
(Non-administrator comment) User only has 264 to the article mainspace at the time of this post. TheMesquito 01:49, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
information Administrator note Thank you for your observation. I can assure this is something that any admin considering this request would have noted themselves. Thanks again. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:31, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
Beeblebrox i'm bit confused. But the above instruction says that i must have over 400 edits in total and it didn't mention “mainspace”, How come you have granted Pingumeister rollback role? They have less edits (228) than me :/ --Prince Sulaiman 07:25, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
No admins have made a decision yet, PrinceSulaiman. That was a non-administrator observation. -- Pingumeister 10:09, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
Pingumeister, Oh, I thought it was admin decision, Thanks for correcting me :) --Prince Sulaiman 10:12, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
Not done @Yngvadottir: and @GiantSnowman: made points at an ANI thread (which I did read for myself) about your inability to be trusted and your biting of new editors. Beyond that, you also said "With all due to respect i'm not concerned to defend my actions" in that same thread which is very concerning since we would be giving you new tools which have an obligation to do per WP:RBK#When_to_use_rollback. I would like to see you take some time to do constructive editing, blatant vandalism reverting, and warning the vandals before I grant such a request. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 18:00, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

As my watchlist gets longer, I find I'm spending more and more time reverting vandalism. Twinkle does the trick as of now, but rollback sure will make it much faster and easier. I'd love to be able to do something about the pending changes bit as well, but I guess for the reviewer rights, I’d need more edits to the article space. So maybe I’ll request that a bit later. Thank you.  NQ  talk 07:11, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
Not done Taking a look at your last 500 edits, I see a few vandal reverts in the past day or two, and then it goes back to the beginning of July before you were reverting blatant vandalism which is what this tool is for. I'm also concerned about your not putting a warning notice when you have semi-automated tools like twinkle to do the job. I would like to see more experience reverting vandalism before I grant rollback here. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 17:24, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
Alright. Thank you very much.  NQ  talk 12:52, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
