Please Accept My ApologiesTo all members of Misplaced Pages that have been involved in this case, especially Bgwhite: I'm sincerely sorry for everything: I want to apologize for always giving you guys a hard time with my edits and contributions to any articles here on Misplaced Pages regarding Jordanian footballers and teams and I sincerely apologize for always ignoring your rules and warnings. I admit I was being selfish, thought I could always get away with it and always have it my way, as well as being too lazy to listen to any of you by ignoring the reasons you provide me as to why some of my edits violate the rules here on this website and ignoring your warnings. I apologize for my rude and selfish behavior. I just wanted to help, and I thought I could by adding more links and references to such articles, but I seriously did not know that using double brackets and this | in the links and references I add was a violation, I thought it wouldn't matter. With all due respect, what's the big deal with that exactly, what harm could be done? Is it only because it's totally unnecessary or what? And what's wrong with providing Arabic links and references here on Misplaced Pages? I mean, there are lots of articles here on Misplaced Pages, besides ones regarding Jordanian footballers, that include Arabic links and references. The only reason why I like to provide Arabic links and references to articles of Jordanian footballers here on Misplaced Pages is because they are the only ones that back up the information of these footballers and make a lot of sense, and there are hardly any English ones out there that help back up the info. Trust me, the Arabic ones are much better because they contain much more, or better yet, all sources of the info I provide. So I provide these links and references as sources to back up the info I provide. And as for all the Facebook links I've been trying to provide for the past few months, which I have also just removed myself for the past few days after I found out why providing certain Facebook links is inappropriate here on Misplaced Pages, I thought it was completely fine to do that after I saw Lionel Messi's Facebook page provided as a link on an article of him here on Misplaced Pages, so I thought I could help by doing the same to articles of Jordanian footballers here on Misplaced Pages, and I thought it wouldn't matter, in fact I thought the same was allowed to be done for any article here on Misplaced Pages of a footballer. So if it's really the links and references you guys have a problem with, just remove them yourselves from now on without having to revert my recent edits, like manually. As for me, I promise to never ever do this again. I really didn't mean to cause you guys any trouble with all I've been doing, I just wanted to help because I enjoy doing this, and I've been doing all this because I'm the one who created most articles/pages here on Misplaced Pages of Jordanian footballers, national teams, and clubs and improved all others created by other people. You see, I used to be the only one here on Misplaced Pages who had access to all the information of Jordanian footballers and teams until I tried to help everyone else here on Misplaced Pages, like readers and members, giving them access to this information by providing it here on Misplaced Pages. So as of for now and from now on, please accept and leave my recent edits and contributions that I have made for the past few days because they are all now totally accurate and I tried to make it easier for you guys by removing Facebook links and the | symbols from the references I've been providing. Will you guys please forgive me, not get me into anymore trouble and not try to stop me from contributing by blocking me. Please let's just forget about all this and allow me to continue contributing because I want to help, is that so wrong? :( Thank you for your cooperation :) Your recent deletions on a film pageHello! Thank you for your guidance on my recent edits. I had some questions regarding the deletions made by you on the Zinda_Bhaag page. The last time you deleted information (all cited with sources) about the poster, the project under which the film was conceived and the review section. The review segment was written in paragraph form with few direct quotes (all cited). The reason given by you was that the writing style was too 'POV'. Therefore I changed it and only gave direct quotes from the reviews with author names and cited sources and it was deleted again and your edit summary said that 'only positive reviews' cannot be provided. My request is to not delete but enhance the page with negative reviews or whatever other information you would like to add to it. Since all sources are cited it would easy enough for you to access all the reviews and add any material that you feel makes the review section more objective. This would also be in keeping with the wikipedia protocol, again quoted from here: WP:Dispute resolution "Follow the normal protocol When you find a passage in an article that is biased or inaccurate, improve it if you can; don't delete salvageable text. For example, if an article appears biased, add balancing material or make the wording more neutral. Include citations for any material you add. If you do not know how to fix a problem, ask for help on the talk page." I will try and rework the 'reviews' section again but would request you to 'edit' BUT not delete as I'm citing my sources for every thing I'm putting into the page. Thank you Kokokarina (talk) 12:26, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
The previous review section was written in a paragraph form which was also deleted by you on 2nd July. That text was definitely salvageable. It was in response to your comment about POV' that I quoted direct phrases from the reviews. More importantly, in that deletion a whole lot of other sections of the page including the one on the poster, production company, the south asia masculinity project- all that information was lost. There was no justification provided on your part for deleting those segments- which were purely informational and cited sources. If you are an editor its definitely your 'job' to 'edit' and not press a button and undo everything. I think wikipedia is quite clear about how editors are meant to deal with neutrality and we should just follow that protocol. If you didn't care to make edits or add 'balancing' material then you should have left me a message and I would have responded likewise. If that is also something you cannot do you must at least be more discerning when deleting material. Having said that I'm going to incorporate negative segments from reviews as per your suggestion in the future.Kokokarina (talk) 08:52, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
But how is the information like this copyrighted material- or POV? These are simple facts and sources have been cited but they have been deleted by you again. Could you please explain your position. I'm providing some examples of what has been deleted by you and if you could please explain how any of it is copyrighted material. Segment on Awards: "Zinda Bhaag was Pakistan’s official entry to the 86th Academy Awards, Foreign Film Category. With Zinda Bhaag, Pakistan made an entry to the Oscars after a gap of more than fifty years. While the film reached the ‘long list’ of the foreign film category, it failed to make the final short list of nominees.(More than one citation provided)The film won four awards for best film, best music and two awards for the acting category at the International South Asian Film Festival in Canada. It also won an award at the Jaipur International Film Festival(Again two sources provided).Recently, the film won five awards at ARY Film Awards, including 'Best Film (Jury), Best Actress (Jury), Best Story, Best Background Score and Best Playback Male Singer for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (Again citation/source provided)." THIS WAS DELETED. Segment on Theatrical release: "First look of Zinda Bhaag's trailer was unveiled on 18 June 2013.(Reference provided) This film was earlier set to release in Pakistan on the 6th of September but due to a backlog of unreleased films, the release of ‘Zinda Bhaag’ was postponed to 20 September 2013.(2 references provided) 'Zinda Bhaag' has been released in 11 states of US as well on 18 October 2013.(Reference provided). The film was theatrically released in the UAE on 16 January 2014 (Reference provided)." THIS WAS DELETED TOO I could provide more examples but I think that would be unnecessary. Also despite my initiating a discussion with you here to understand your position - rather than explain anything to me you are effectively threatening to 'block' me? I'm trying to understand why you need to undo complete pages rather than the particular material that you find problematic? I think it would be better if you explained to me why and which material is 'copyrighted'. If there is indeed anything that you feel is copyrighted why don't you just remove/delete that portion- what is is the reason that you undo all the work in one go? What is most unfortunate is that you have reverted to a version which is severely dated (for instance the information on release) and with several factual errors (like the wrong names and credits) and dated citation of sources. Thank you Kokokarina (talk) 12:12, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Firstly, thank you for taking the time out to explain this to me. You will notice from the history of the page that both the examples quoted by you have not been added by me but by some other editors (See 6th June 2014 edit by another editor). Anyhow I got your point about 'objectivity' and 'balance' for the paragraph that was added by me and will follow that in future edits. Kokokarina (talk) 14:11, 8 July 2014 (UTC) Quincy TroupeThanks for your two copy edits at the top but everything else was pretty censorious. Okay, it's in a CV style, but rather than take all that material out, did you consider changing the objectionable content to paragraph form before completely deleting it?--Aichik (talk) 18:38, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Rhododendron CommentI am at a total losss to understand all the changes you just made to Rhododendron. I am intensly suspicious of AWB which has wrecked many articles I have worked on. I took the liberty of reverting while I investigate each edit to determine its validity. For a start - why change so many references without providing justification? --Michael Goodyear (talk) 00:11, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

SubContrabass Saxophone pageI have being keep the Subcontrabass Saxophone page up-to-date with the latest information dealing with Subcontrabass Saxophones. I actually own a real Subcontrabass Saxophone and want the correct information out there. Unfortunately, for some reason, you think my changes are promotional and have undid my changes twice. I don't sell these instruments, I just own one and it is the very first real full-sized subcontrabass saxophone ever built. I also mention the other manufacturer of subcontrabass saxophones. DEKI don't understand your latest edit in DEK: I already got that rather {{reflist}} instead of my <references /> shall be used. But what's the point about mixing reference-definitions with the body. I like to define them at the bottom and then just write a reference by name. Is that discouraged? Can you point me where's a guideline for this? I'm just starting to edit some more often in the English WP. -- Kays (talk) 13:37, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

Miracles albumThis is a clear deletion case, hands down. The release is too far away, actual release just speculative, plus that the article doesn't provide any useful information about the album, just possibility of some distant release. The title is also tentative and not a sure thing either. It might eventually be named something else for all we know. Of course knowing Dappy and his materials, any album he releases will definitely chart and become notable, but we can wait for a confirmed actual release date and some useful content. No hurry. Delete please with "No Regrets", an actual great song by Dappy, thoughtful lyrics, beautiful music and performance and and deservedly a number 1 hit in the UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoImizvsj5w By the way, if you want a charming and hilarious interview with Dappy and N-Dubz, check this "piece of gem". I haven't reverted your edits, so please take a look at the way they look now (ref#13 & ref #30). In both cases, the sources have a show's title italicized and a possessive 's not italicized (as it is not part of the show's title). Ref#13 should read Ally's (not Ally's or Allys) and ref#30 should read Cougar Town's (not Cougar Town's or Cougar Towns). Especially in the second case, the whole ref appears in bold after your edits. I know it's a tricky syntax, but that's why I used <i></i> to solve the issue. If you know of a better way to do this, please let me know. In any case, at least ref#30 must be fixed 'cause it looks very wrong right now. Thank you in advance! CostaDax (talk) 09:23, 25 July 2014 (UTC) Hi, again! Since more than 24 hours passed and you didn't respond, I decided to experiment a little. I utilized the <nowiki></nowiki> format for the apostrophe preceding the possessive s, and the refs look fine now. Please take a look, and let me know if it's OK. CostaDax (talk) 11:29, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Location of referencesIt seems to be the policy that references should be placed after punctuation, specifically after full stops. This gives the impression that the whole of the preceding sentence is covered by the reference. It would seem to me to give a better representation of the situation if the reference is placed after the fact, rather than outside the sentence structure. Thus "Mr XXX is aged 89 and one-legged (ref here)." Tells us that the reference relates to the fact has one leg whereas "Mr XXX is aged 89 and one-legged.(ref here)" tells us the reference refers to the whole sentence. In this eaxample, "Mr XXX is one-legged(ref here) and aged 89." would be a practical alternative, but this is not always the case. Shipsview (talk) 19:49, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
