Ugar river (to 1878: Brzica) is one of richest (with Vrbanja river) right tributary of Vrbas (Bosnia). It appears at at the slopes of Vlašić, upstream of Sažići and Melina willages (at around of 1550 meters abow see level). Its stream is at area so called „Prelivode“ – the waterhed with Ugar, Ilomska and Bila rivers, in radius of (just) around 2-3 kilometers.There are aparting the confluences of Vrbanja, Ugar and Lašva rivers (i.e. Vrbas, at southwest) and Usora (i.e. Bosna on northeast).

The Ugar's lenght is around 45,5 kilometres, and its confluence is around 328 km

After short, but deep canyon by it stream (below Babanovac plateau) it entering to Pougarje, under the Ranča Mountain. By this, Ugar flows into deep and long canyon under Skender Vakuf to nearby of its mouth (in Vrbas), around 20th kilometres downflow Jajce. The Canyon's middle depth is around 500 metres truncated thru Undervlašić's plateau.
