hamas

Why u deleted my edits which it's with the correct sources? Marco 2 en (talk) 11:28, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

You obviously have no consensus for that change, like I said, take it to the talk page. Darkness Shines (talk) 11:31, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) I warned the IP editor. Sock? Say if you need help. Regards Widefox; talk 13:23, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

I've semi-protected this page for a month. DS, let me know if you would like it lifted or the duration changed. It would also be helpful if you could create an unprotected subpage for non-autoconfirmed users to edit, as per Misplaced Pages:Protection policy#User talk pages. If you do decide to create one, you don't have to watchlist it, but it would be good to check it from time to time, particularly if you are dealing with legitimate new editors anywhere. I won't force you to make a subpage like that for a month-long semi-protection, but I wouldn't feel comfortable saying the same thing for longer protections. — Mr. Stradivarius 09:43, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
Subpage created, thanks. Darkness Shines (talk) 10:08, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

Communism

You've removed four of my edits even though you just disagreed with one.

The sentence concerned is this:

By the beginning of the 21st century, states controlled by communist parties under a single-party system include the [[People's Republic of China]], Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea

A communist party is one which follows communism; North Korea has removed all references to communism several years ago. According to reliable sources (Suh 1988, p. 313 & 139., Myers 2011, pp. 9, 11–12., Becker 2005, p. 66.; check Workers' Party of Korea article), the ruling party of North Korea is not any shade of left-wing politics but rather far-right. Additionally, all references to Marxism have been purged, the party now following its own ideology "Juche". The Workers' Party of Korea repudiated Marxism-Leninism (Kwak 2009, p. 20.). There is little connection between Juche, Marxism and Leninism (Suh 1988, p. 309.)

Reliable source Suh Dae-Sook argues: Whatever the name and however elaborate his claim, Kim's Juche idea is nothing more than xenophobic nationalism that has little relevance to communism.

What are your reliable sources? Please re-instate my edits if you are unable to produce evidence in favor of your case. Zozs (talk) 08:17, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

Dateline North Korea: A Communist Holdout John Curtis Perry Foreign Policy, No. 80, Twentieth Anniversary (Autumn, 1990), pp. 172-191 Defecting to Snatch Victory from Defeat

Hazel Smith The World Today, Vol. 53, No. 3 (Mar., 1997), pp. 64-66 "the North Korean communist state. Korean nationalism has provided the cement of legitimacy for communist leadership much more so than socialism or self-reliance Juche the official doctrines of the state" "For decades North Korea has been one of the world's most secretive societies. It is one of the few countries still under nominally communist rule" Darkness Shines (talk) 08:30, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

The first sentence seems to be simply part of an opinion newsletter by an unknown author, who has no weight in the topic (in contrast to the massive weight and authority which is assigned to the authors I've brought in this topic). The second is just an article on the BBC. But even it claims that North Korea is only "nominally" under communist rule, even though nominally they've removed all references to communism (look it up). I think it's clear which sources win out in this case. I strongly suggest that you re-instate at least three of my four edits (which you've not argued against) and that you argue your case in the talk page, instead of randomly reverting. If you notice the context of the Communism article, naming North Korea in that place just makes no sense there. Zozs (talk) 08:36, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
John Curtis Perry, so no revert, North Korea is communist. Darkness Shines (talk) 08:41, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Yo DS, with all due respect, didn't Curtis write in 1990? Also, when are you going to appeal that tban, mate? You're desperately needed .... Cheers, Vanamonde93 (talk) 15:07, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
It's obvious what he's trying to do is introduce something which is contradicted by many reliable sources (as I proved above) as pure fact - basing himself on his own personal opinion, with the dogma "North Korea is communist, is communist, is communist". And yet he reverts 4 edits giving reasons for reverting only 1 of them - basically an excuse for reverting all of them when he can only challenge one, meanwhile ignoring me mentioning them. I honestly don't understand why people have such POV-pushing behavior. Zozs (talk) 19:43, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
