- A New York City physician tests positive for Ebola at the Bellevue Hospital Center. Harlem resident Craig Spencer had been treating Ebola patients in Guinea with Doctors Without Borders. He arrived on Brussels Airlines Flight 501 from Brussels to JFK Airport on October 17. (WABC-TV)
