Sockpuppet denials on userpage . Contributions look like people from tangotango.info, which he claims they are. See 15:45, 9 July 2006 (UTC) timestamp for claim of friendship Possible meatpuppets, would like confirmation. ShaunES 07:24, 10 July 2006 (UTC).

Another admin, User:Pschemp, has been saying that a checkuser has confirmed that these are socks of Conradi. Conradi vehmantly denies this. I have looked for the previous Checkuser, which would have had to have been in the last couple of weeks, but cannot find it. If there was a previous checkuser, then all that is needed to settle this is a pointer to that checkuser. If not, then it would be nice to have this officially settle this once and for all. - TexasAndroid 19:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Tex was so kind to point me here. I did not claim nowhere that they are from tangotango.info nor tango.info. They are tango dancers and friends of mine. Hauke lives in Rostock and Chris in the UK. I strongly doubt that there could be any checkuser evidence that says they are me, because I use Deutsche Telekom, Berlin. I would like to see the other checkuser that Pschemp claims to have confirmed sock puppetry . They are not meat puppets nor any other kind of puppets. They are Hauke and Chris people that can decide by themselves what they do and what not. And yes, they know tango.info and contribute to it as do many tango people. Thank you. I looked in the chekuser request history and could not find any edit by Pschemp. What other way can people go to request checkuser? Are there logs were all checked users can be found? Tobias Conradi (Talk) 19:43, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

That means little, Tobias. Nothing says that Pschemp made the request. And the clerk below makes that point that some requests do not even go through this page. I would just like to know if it was performed. If so, what was the official result. If not, I would like to see it performed now to try to settle this.

On a side note, if a new check is performed... Just before the two above accounts came into question, there were a series of edits by Tobias from several IP addresses. Tobias has admitted these were done by him, so there's really no need to bring them into the check.  Clerk note: The situation was discussed at WP:ANI here (bottom of the page), although it does not seem to be in the ANI archives (a bot archiving problem?). I can also not find any record of a public checkuser request before, although the name rings a bell. Not all checkuser results are posted here, as sometimes the checkuser admins discuss cases on talk pages, ANI, etc. However, Chrisjj2's only edits were in response to Voice of All's denial of removing the protection from User talk:Tobias Conradi, which was proposed by Hauke . I have started a discussion about this on Tobias' talk page. If they are not sock puppets, they are at least technically meatpuppets. Tobias has said they are friends from off the project who came to his support while he was blocked. The issue is are they indeed friends, and thus separate people, or are they Tobias himself in different guises. If the former, then they should be unblocked at this point, and the sockpuppet warnings removed. If the latter, then my support of Tobias in the recent situation will turn out to be misplaced. - TexasAndroid 19:57, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

is everybody who is my friend a "technical meat puppet"? I assume no. Consider stopping to call them meat puppets. They are human beings who can decide for themselves what they do. Also, Tobias would like his name cleared of the accusations of Sockpuppetry. Yeah, he used IPs to dodge and protest his block, but he ended up serving a bit over a week for that whole thing. The facts are that Tobias used IP socks and these two users acted as meatpuppets. There is no name to clear here, I have stated before I thought the registered users were meatpuppets. That doesn't affect the outcome of his previous block. Hauke wrote to me privateley saying he had a dymanic IP and would just edit under a different name, so If these users would like to be unblocked, they can request to do so themselves, however I have seen no indication of that from the users, only continual rants by Tobias claiming they were wronged. pschemp | talk 20:34, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

First: of all, you still fail to provide the checkuser you claimed you had at hand.

Second: there is a name to be cleared from your repeated false allegations. Don't deny this.

Third: nobody is discussing your previous blocks of me here. We only discuss some of your claims and allegations which you still stick to, they are: accusing Hauke and Chris being sockpuppets of me. And accusing me of sockpuppetry.

Fourth: It is not your decision who can put an unblock request, every wikipedian can do so. It was your very own mistake and a possible policy violation to block them.

I just had a call with Hauke now who forwarded the emails to me.

Ok, that I could do anyway. Since I login via a provider. Any time I
login I will get a different IP, depending on which one is free and
usually I have to share this IP with many others. So if you block IPs
you just annoy also others from this provider to contribute to Wiki.

Sorry, being Wiki-editor is not that important to make nonsense
struggles. A Meatpuppet is someone who just does what someone else asks
him to do. I checked myself if Tobias' arguments were logic. It is just
fair to put myself out for Tobias. Up to recently I just added
information to Wiki anonymous. Never ever any bothered about what I
contributed. I guess your behaviour is a result of something different
from Wiki. Think about it.

Since when have admins the right to decide whether someone has to change his user name? At the phone Hauke told me, that he regards all this blocking and name change request by you as very childish.

Fifth: please bring evidence for your meat puppet allegations.
