Frank Sontag is the host of the The Impact Program, a talk show on 95.5 FM KLOS, Los Angeles, which discusses a wide variety of topics. Impact is primarily a call-in show, although it sometimes features in-studio guests. Impact airs every Sunday night / Monday morning from midnight to 5 a.m.
Some of Sontag's regular themes are:
- Television is evil. However Sontag does admit to a love-hate relationship with "The Sopranos" and sneaks a peak at television at the gym where he works out.
- He questions mainstream medicine and refers to it as Allopathic medicine. He questions the notion that HIV is the sole cause of AIDS and that it is a myth invented by conspiracy of medical entities and individuals. What is identified as AIDS, according to Sontag, is a combination of symptoms brought on by the destruction of the human immune system by a polluted environment and food chain and by reckless use of prescription pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs.
- Guests on the program are frequently those who offer alternative political or spiritual views to the mainstream. One frequent guest is Craig Hulet.
Sontag, now an espouser of progressive liberal values, was once a Reagan conservative but says his life was changed when he was knocked off of a motorcycle he was riding on a Los Angeles freeway in the '80s.
