The Peel District School Board is the public board of education in Peel Regional Municipality, Ontario serving: Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, Ontario. The Peel District School Board currently has 221 schools, 189 elementary and 32 Secondary. As of September 2005, Enrolment was 143,597 students (101,926 elementary, 41,671 secondary). The Peel District School Board employs over 8,000 teachers, educational support staff and administrators and over 11,000 people in total. It is one of Canada's largest public school boards.
