Mohanlal is an Indian film actor, producer, writer and playback singer predominantly seen in Malayalam film industry. He is considered as one of the greatest actors of Indian Cinema. Mohanlal has received 4 National Film Awards, 9 Filmfare Awards and 9 Kerala State Film Awards. He established as an actor through his antogonist role in Manjil Virinja Pookkal (1980). He acted over 320 film. Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri (2001), one of the highest civilian honour of India, for his contribution towards Indian Cinema. He completed 36 years in Indian Cinema. He is the most number of national award nominated Indian actor. He is the only actor to be honoured with a rank of Lt. Colonol from Indian Territorial Army.
