Everton F.C. is an English football club from the city of Liverpool and was founded in 1879.

Everton FC are currently experiencing a resurgence under their young manager David Moyes, and many of their fans are confident that they will finish higher in the English Premier League than their arch rivals, Liverpool FC.

Everton are the first club to have reached 100 seasons in the English football league's top division. They were one of 12 founder members of the league in the late nineteenth century, and have spent only four seasons outside the top flight since then.
