Username violation

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I saw that you edited or created Soledad High School , and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "SoledadAlumniAssoc", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Misplaced Pages does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.>‎

I don't see a problem with the content of those of your edits that I have checked, but it's clear from the pattern of your edits and the edit summary on this edit that this user account is a violation of wp:username policy. Please create and use an individual account instead. If you continue to use this account I will ask to have it blocked. Thank you. Meters (talk) 19:46, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Minor edits

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. OK. Unofficial group or not, you can't have a username that consists of a group name or suggests a shared account. See WP:GROUPNAME and WP:ISU. That's why your original username has been blocked. The content of the edits is fine. Your suggested new username should be OK, but from what you write it still sounds like the account will be shared. That's not allowed (see WP:NOSHARING. You may use a personal account to make edits about a group you are a member of, but you have to be careful about the conflict of interest. See WP:BESTCOI. Meters (talk) 18:56, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
