History
A village of Ivanovskaya at the confluence of Neva and Tosna was first mentioned in chronicles 1708. In 1784, the land was acquired by empress Catherine II, and a residence known as Pella estate was established. The estate was mostly destroyed on the orders of Emperor Paul. The modern town was established in 1970 by merging several urban settlements.
