Benglai/Indian

Hey, Rahat for time being , I accept "ambiguous citizenship" argument for JC Bose. But, no ambiguous citizenship exists for people like SN Bose, Meghnad Saha. Don't use that logic in these cases. Hope you and other editors from Bangladesh like Nafsadh stop making changes in introduction in SN Bose and Meghnad Saha page. I accept your argument for JC Bose page. change yahya khan's profile photo

ctg4rahat please change the profile picture of Yahya Khan article , give a military uniformed photo of that man. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KarachiBiriani (talkcontribs)

@KarachiBiriani:, It would be nice if we can use this picture in his article. But the problem is that, Pakistani image copyright expires 50 years after the publication of the image. Yahya was the Army Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan army until 20 December 1971. So we can not be sure that this image is in public domain or under any free license. If you wish to use this image in the infobox of the article, you have to take permission from the copyright holder of the image to release it under a free license (e.g. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International) via email. - Rahat (Message) 08:07, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

Yahya's Image

Ctg4Rahat the current image of General Yahya is actually a cut version, it is a picture where Yahya is talking to President of US Nixon. Will you be able revert the original image? Yahya's so many military images are available along with his civil dressed photos. On the article about that man only one photo is given, at least three photos should be given, one would be military, two would be civil dressed. Ctg4Rahat I'm not expert in wikipedia article image uploading, i urge you please change Yahya's photo and give two more of his photo he is a popularly noted in pakistani history books. When pakistanis search for them in google most of them read in Misplaced Pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KarachiBiriani (talkcontribs)

@KarachiBiriani:, The current image was taken by USA government which is in public domain. While there is at least one single free image available for an article, we can't upload non-free image (usually all images that come in Google search are non free) to Misplaced Pages. We have to seek written permission from the copyright holder of the image in order to upload in wiki. I am helpless in this regard. Please watch Commons:Licensing and Commons:OTRS. You can try emailing to Pakistan government for permission to release some image under CC-BY-4.0 license. - Rahat (Message) 14:13, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

bangladesh navy and air personnel

@Ctg4Rahat Please note that in the Bangladesh Armed Forces article it is written that Bangladesh has 157000 personnel totally (if three forces are combined) . In the article Bangladesh Navy , the force's personnel is written 48000 and in the Air Force 52000 personnel .... how it is possible... if the total tri military combined personnel 157000 then army's member would be only 57000. this is ridiculous.... do you have any idea what are the real numbers.... a.d another thing is Bangladesh Air Force has no Airwoman (female NCO) - — Preceding unsigned comment added by MilitaryBangla (talkcontribs)

Thanks for your concern. I have corrected the number. It was vandalized by someone I think. I don't have any idea about the exact figure. If you have any document/reference about the current number, please provide here. - Rahat (Message) 15:42, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
This discussion is mere original research and is not more authoritative than a figure provided by the IISS. Have you ever considered that the personnel figures on the Bangladesh navy and air force pages are incorrect? Antiochus the Great (talk) 15:46, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Airwoman

@Ctg4Rahat is there any airwoman in Bangladesh Air Force? In google i am not getting any references that say that bangladesh has this number of troops or naval or air personnel... i have just imagined seeing the Sri Lanka Army's personnel. MilitaryBangla (talk) 15:46, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Cant you watch this. Are they NCO? - Rahat (Message) 16:02, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

only officer

@ctg4rahat bangladesh air force has only female officers not NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers). I have read it in their page www.joinbangladeshairforce.mil.bdMilitaryBangla (talk) 16:05, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
