Mosgiel is a southern suburb of Dunedin in Otago, New Zealand, standing on the Taieri plains. The SH1 motorway completed in 2003 links Mosgiel to the Dunedin city centre.

Mosgiel takes its name after Mossgiel in Ayrshire.
