Technologies and patents
Vu Digital technologies support apps for three markets: consumers, content producers and content distributors. Vu Digital technologies rely on advanced analytic and profiling that "learns" and caters to the individual content needs and interests of each user.
Vu app
The Vu app finds content tailored to the individual, using algorithms that select content that the user gravitates to with each use of the app. The content may be on any topic; news, sports, hobbies, politics and policy, technology, art, local interest, the national and global scenes or any other field of interest. The Vu Finder recommendation engine lets information providers of various types host the app on their site, providing tailored content feature for website visitors matched with advertising or marketing messages precisely adapted to the content and the user, in real time. Industries that offer Vu capabilities to subscribers via Vu Finder include newspapers, fashion designers and retailers. Vu Video-to-Data (V2D) translates video images and audio to text, affording video producers the ability to tag their content better with metadata making it more searchable. Vu Digital has patents pending for Video-to-Data & Vu Finder.
Vu Digital apps work on any iOS or Android mobile device and are available in the Apple Store. and Google Play. Vu is free and is used by more than 500,000 consumers.

Vu Digital's latest product is its Video-to-Data (V2D) technology and associated Vu Finder. The V2D service uses predictive analytics, natural language processing, face recognition, object recognition, and audio/image detection to extract metadata from video including transcripts of the audio, and time-tagged references to screen text and appearances of persons or images of interest, such as objects or logos. Vu Finder can then be used to search this extracted metadata to find the associated video.
