Feminism-focused Inspire Campaign proposal for distributed editing
Dear WikiProject Women's History: I wish to invite you to review an Inspire Campaign proposal and offer feedback if you wish:
What's special about this proposal is it looks to (re)value sporadic editing and respectfully honor the expertise of subject matter experts, without asking them to be responsible for 'fixing' Misplaced Pages's problems. This is a novel approach that perhaps could gain traction with edit-a-thons and WikiProject initiatives because it comes from a feminist pedagogical perspective for analysis in order to generate re-usable lists to share/work on. The topic for the pilot is not yet set, though it will connect to gender studies and/or feminist theory, but however I wanted to ping the WikiProject Women's History as this proposal could be of interest more generally and I would look forward to your feedback.

Presentation proposal for Wikimania 2015
Hello! Victuallers and I have developed a draft proposal for a talk to be presented at Wikimania 2015. It's titled, How to pick up more women -- as in more women editors and more women's biographies. A friendly FYI... I have mentioned this WikiProject in the proposal! The proposal review process has begun and there's no guarantee that this proposal will be accepted. That's where you come in. - @Rosiestep: Can't sign that form. The "new way to make editing easier" doesn't work. Won't let me put in tildes, won't let me put in my UserName. Won't let me do anything. Just says <no wiki>. - @Whatamidoing: LOL I am reminded of something Whoopi Goldberg said in Jumping Jack Flash ... "Mick, Mick! Speak Engish!" Goes directly to my point, that programmers speak the language of programming, not writing. What does "outside of Flow" mean? How can it NOT be used for discussions when it is what is driving the "Talk" or "Discussion" page, or in this case the "sign up"? SusunW (talk) 17:01, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- WP:Flow is a discussion system. In an ideal world, VisualEditor wouldn't have been turned on for that page. "Edit source" is always available, and needs to be used on discussion pages (unless you want to hand-type your signature, which I'm too lazy to do ;-) WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:07, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

Marie Stopes
The article has been expanded in recent years. There's plenty of good material there already, and there's plenty of high quality biographies and other sources out there that could be used to expand and improve the article. If someone is willing to put in the work, this article could easily reach Good Article or Featured Article status. Let's get Irena Sendler to Good Article!
Irena Sendler is one of Poland's most popular articles (listed as 79 in the current Misplaced Pages:WikiProject_Poland/Popular_pages), and based on that I wager she is one of the most famous encyclopedic women (as in, in the Top 1000 or so). She was only a start-class article; I've improved her and I think she is ready for a B-class reassessment. I'd appreciate proofreading and copyediting before a Good Article nomination. "WIGI: Misplaced Pages Gender Inequality Index" Survey invitation
Hello WikiProject Women's History participants,
I am a member of Misplaced Pages Gender Inequality Index (WIGI) project. WIGI is an Individual Engagement Grant that seeks to automate the production and graphing of statistical presentation of gender in articles by various categories such as date of birth, citizenship, occupation, etc. - in a publicly viewable website with open-data downloads.
We're running a brief survey to find out what kind of information users would like captured, ideally about the state of Misplaced Pages biographies. We will use it to inform what statistics our portal will show and provide a final report on the observed trends at the end of the year.
