Notability

Why is this guy notable? Just appearing in court in relation to various legal cases does not make him anything special: all lawyers do it and many, many of them get their names mentioned in newspapers because of it. - Sitush (talk) 08:08, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Sitush is correct. Misplaced Pages wants to see a reliable WP:SECONDARY source, not a primary source such as certificates, filings, etc. Binksternet (talk) 23:39, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Alumni association

Why is his past presidency of an alumni association so notable? I can see that being a member of the Senate might be because that relates to day-to-day operations of the IIT (I think!) but the alumni group is really not terribly special. Nor, I suspect, are quite a few of the cases that are mentioned. We are not here to list every achievement that Bharti has ever had nor - to pre-empt something that will probably happen - to act as a part of his election campaign literature. - Sitush (talk) 20:19, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Confusion regarding Spam theory

There is no way to establish that Somnath bharti mentioned in those PCquest articles is Somnath bharti of Aam Aadmi party. The reference cited in the article does make it clear that it's the same person. Here are a couple of other sources:

Wife

An allegation of domestic violence has been made recently and has surfaced in this article. For safety's sake, bearing in mind that Bharti is alive and that this is at present basically the word of one person against that of another, I have queried our specialist noticeboard re: whether or not the material should be included. While there may be issues with the content I mention above, there is most definitely an issue with the content that keeps getting adding with edits like this. It is so far from neutral phrasing as to be unreal. Accusation of vigilantism

What became of the inquiry into alleged vigilantism that, according to our article, was going to report some time after March 2014? I am aware that Indian legal etc processes can be extremely slow but is it really still in limbo or does the article need updating?
