Your recent edits
Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. When you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:10, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Twinkle
Hi BU Rob13, I've noticed that you are doing a lot of vandalism revision and templating. Have you considered using Twinkle to help with the process. This piece of javascript allows you to rollback multiple edits by the same editor and allows you to place a range of templates and notices on the users talkpages without having to cop/paste or remember the code nessecary to do so. Amortias (T)(C) 19:05, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- I certainly have! Unfortunately, my account is not yet autoconfirmed, so I'm unable to access Twinkle yet. I signed up to an account just a day ago, so I've got to wait a few more I believe, if I understand the policy correctly. BU Rob13 (talk) 19:09, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion converted to PROD: The Future Doctor Medical Journal
Hello BU Rob13. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on The Future Doctor Medical Journal to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrog 06:10, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Would you mind giving me some feedback on why proposed deletion is preferred over CSD in this case? I'm still learning, and I'd like to avoid making the same mistake again. Thanks for letting me know about the change! BU Rob13 (talk) 06:13, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Probably because A7 applies only to "individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events". It doesn't apply to journals and other works/products of individuals and organizations. —teb728 t c 07:07, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Precisely what TEB728 said. A7 is intentionally narrow in scope - it does not apply to anything outside of what its criteria defines. In this case a publication. §FreeRangeFrog 16:46, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
G4 link to AfD discussion
In case you didn't know, in a G4 nomination you can link the AfD discussion. This puts a link in the speedy banner in a predictable place. See what I did to your G4 nomination for Mashar hamsa designer. —teb728 t c 07:00, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
New page patrol
If you tag a new article for anything at all (cleanup, deletion, etc.), please mark it as patrolled. Thanks! --I dream of horses (talk to me) (contributions) @ 04:03, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I'm not yet able to, as I haven't been autoconfirmed yet. I certainly will do so as soon as I can, I dream of horses. BU Rob13 (talk) 04:08, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Good to know! --I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message. (talk to me) (contributions) @ 04:12, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Typhoon Yancy
I do not doubt that you are acting in good faith, but why did you swap Typhoon Yancy and Typhoon Yancy (disambiguation)? I await your response. Dustin (talk) 20:19, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- By the way, I see that you are a new user here. Don't worry, I'm not judging you or anything, but you have my Misplaced Pages welcome! :) Dustin (talk) 20:26, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- I believe every disambiguation page that I've seen has contained "(disambiguation)" in the title. I had assumed this was the convention so as to differentiate between disambiguation pages and actual articles, but if this is not the case, thanks for letting me know. Dustin V. S. BU Rob13 (talk) 20:40, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Well, I figured that since there isn't a primary topic for "Typhoon Yancy", the disambiguation page should be located there. There is even a redirect template designed for situations such as these (
{{R to disambiguation page}}
). Dustin (talk) 21:24, 10 June 2015 (UTC)- If Dustin didn't explain the convention clearly enough for you, see Misplaced Pages:Disambiguation#Is there a primary topic?. The "(disambiguation)" qualifier is used when there is a primary topic; if there is no primary topic, the term is the title of a disambiguation page. —teb728 t c 10:43, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Bryan Burnham
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bryan Burnham requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Me-123567-Me (talk) 23:47, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
