Superheroes Misplaced Pages Edit-a-thon

The Nashville Public Library is hosting a "Superheroes Misplaced Pages Edit-a-thon" to create and edit Misplaced Pages articles about your favorite superheroes from comics, movies, video games, or better yet, real life. Our goal is to have fun, teach people about Misplaced Pages, and help make Misplaced Pages better. This program is part of Summer Challenge. Participating counts towards your Summer Challenge goals.

The Misplaced Pages training and Edit-a-thon will take place in the Commons Room on the third floor of the Main library downtown. Please bring a laptop with you.

You Can Work on Whatever You Want BUT

There are a ton articles about comics on Misplaced Pages. Many of these articles need edited to meet community standards. If you want to be Batman you have to be willing to clean up Gotham City.


There is a shortage of articles about women on Misplaced Pages. Be a hero, or at least a good citizen, and help change that.


A lot of real life heroes of the Civil Rights movement don't have articles, or their articles need expanded. A lot of these people have Nashville connections. Keep the spirit of the library's Our Story Matters Editathon going by:


You're an awesome person and your pet/parent/high school physics teacher is your hero. And that is awesome but there is a high probably they not notable enough to be included in Misplaced Pages. For more pointers see the tools and templates below.
