Panorama Tools is a collection of free software programs for creating panoramas from multiple images. The core software was originally written by Professor Helmut Dersch of the Fachhochschule Furtwangen, and is the basis of many open source and commercial programs. For details see

Dr. Dersch no longer works on the project, which is now maintained by a group of volunteers at Sourceforge (see external links).
