The Swedish Ski Team refers to a fictitious ski team of beautiful young blond women featured in television ads for Coors Light beer in the 1980s. The team was portrayed as engaging in such fanciful activities as parachute into remote areas with cases of beer to save stranded men.
Because of the popularity of the ads, they were the subject of attacks and calls for censorship by temperance oriented groups.
