From California, I lived in Japan most of the time between 1985 and 2005, in Chicago from 2005 to 2011, and in the Middle East since then. Early on I was interested in writing and revising bios involving Keynesian economics (for example, Alvin Hansen), popular media and politics, and my favorite American genius Stephen Crane. In my middle Misplaced Pages years I worked to NPOV the surprisingly touchy history of terrorism article, and to make coherent and NPOV Middle East conflict and Islamophobia-related entries such as Hamas, Adnan Farhan Abd Al Latif, Charles Jacobs, Americans for Peace and Tolerance, Asra Nomani, and Yasir Qadhi. More recently I've become interested in reducing bias in entries related to the unfortunate 'Cold War II' we apparently are being forced to go through. I view Misplaced Pages as a bastion at times of a popular democratic spirit and enjoy being civil, responsive and generous during the revision process.

The Modest Barnstar
For making modest steps towards turning the article on Nizar Rayan into something readable and WP:NPOV. You seem to have a knack with biographies. Keep up the good work! Tiamut 22:58, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
