Coral Jeanne Smith (born on January 19, 1979 in San Francisco, California, USA) is one of the seven stars from the The Real World: Back to New York. Coral has made it to the end of four challenges in all. Because of this, she's earned a venerable reputation on the reality-competition spin-off shows of the Real World and Road Rules. Although she knows and has the ability to get far in the challenges, she's only won one challenge and that was with her former enemy, but long-time friend, Mike Mizanin. Coral can currently still be seen competing on various Real World/Road Rules Challenges in which she has a reputation for being one of the most formidable competitors because of her cunning, slyness, and manipulation. She is charismatic and has a way with getting people on her side whether it's to get what she wants or gang up on certain individuals that get on her bad side. On the challenges, she's often considered to be one of the stronger negative female competitors which generally consists of Tina, Veronica, Rachel, and sometimes Tonya. In each mission, they seem to alliance themselves and look down on all the newbies. Ever auspicious and incredible, Coral has an inexplicable way of being successful on many of the missions, getting rid of those that get in her way, and surprising everyone by making it to the finals of all the competitions. She's had a love-hate relationship with Mike the Miz and was best friends with Rachel on the Real World 10 in 2001. Although her highly spiteful, vocal, and in-your-face attitude has got her into many feuds, there often very entertaining and take up most of the camera time. Although Coral is ballsy and can outtalk others a lot of the time, she has a softer side. She is extroardinarily funny, helpful, and considerate as portrayed in her relationship with her fellow competitor Abe and other cast mates as well. She's been known to be very caring as she's stood up for Malik when Jisella was giving him the shaft. She's also helped numerous other people in the past and given individual's reassurance and good advice. She seems to be a natural leader, says what needs to be said, and a helping hand when one of her friends has affection related problems. For instance, she consoled her good friend Lori when she had a crush on Kevin on the Real World Back To New York.

Coral and Evan were dominant, until they were both injured in the early going. Coral busted her knee cap and was unable to continue competing. Coral was reluctant to quit however, but had no choice as decided by program producer's.
