This article is about the town of Dingle, Ireland – there are other locations with the name Dingle.

Dingle is a small town west of Killarney in County Kerry on the Atlantic coast of the Republic of Ireland. The town lies beside a natural harbour and Mount Brandon, 952M, on the Dingle peninsula, a large peninsula south of the River Shannon and north of the Ring of Kerry.

Principal industries in the town are tourism and fishing.

The town has many opportunities to hear traditional celtic music, particularly in the summer tourist season. For a number of years it has been possible to rely on a resident dolphin named Fungi showing up for tour boats operating from the harbour.

Dingle is actually directly west of Tralee; it could be said to be west of Killarney also - but then it is also west of London! Look at a map!
