It is the result of the 2003 merger between the local councils Binyamina and Giv'at Ada.
According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the population of Binyamina-Giv'at Ada was 9,800 at the end of 2004. The immigrant population numbered approximately 500.
