Robert Michael Bellotti has been head coach of the University of Oregon football team since 1995. He has led the Ducks to nine winning seasons in ten years, missing a bowl game for the second time in 2004. His accomplishments at Oregon include a 11-1 season and #2 national ranking in 2001. He was previously the head coach at Chico State University in California and Woodland High School in Woodland, CA.

His record at the University of Oregon stands at 91-42. Although he has only been the Head Coach for 10 years, he already holds the school record for most wins as a head coach. He is also the only coach in School History to have 2 10 win seasons(2001, 2005). Having victories in the Fiesta Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Sun Bowl, and Las Vegas Bowl, he is the only coach in school history to have 4 postseason wins.

He isn't just known for his coaching abilities, but also for his generosity. He sponsors an annual golf tournament, the Mike Bellotti Golf Classic—which raised a record $98,000 in 2003 in its ninth year. In addition, he donated $25,000 to the university’s library system in 2002 to kick off the establishment of the Bellotti Family Fund. He has three children; Luke, Keri and Sean. His oldest son, Luke is a walk-on junior kicker for the Ducks this season.
