Archiving Talk:Cultural and historical background of Jesus
I've come up against problems while attempting to archive the Talk:... the speed with which the verbiage is being developed. The last addition to your Summary section was more than 400 edits ago. Should another summary be developed? There appears to be little or no actual progress toward compromise as various debaters agree to a compromise, a summary proposal is stated, and is immediately debated again. election controversy article
electronic voting machines are actually not the root of the controversy, please stop saying that. They are just one part of the controversy from exit poll data disrepancies to registration percentage vs results. There are even plenty of non-electronic voting machines utilized in areas with suspicious results. Zen Master 00:05, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

On the talk page re: cultural and historical context of Jesus, you suggest that CheeseDreams and I "skip" our conflict. I think you are right and appreciate the intervention. But I am concerned that Cheese, having just definied me a "nonperson," will now seek to marginalize any contribution I make. Be that as it may, you proposed a compromise paragraph concerning early relations between Jews and Christians. At the bottom of the talk page I have made some specific proposals concerning Pharisees and Saducees, and have also copied your paragraph. I honestly have several problems with it and I have tried to spell out my objections. I really have tried to be civil and if you think I am violating any wikietiquette, or being unfair to you in my comments on what you wrote, please let me know -- believe me that it is unintentional. - I don't really have access to stuff like RFC or whatever. Also, I don't think Cheese is amenable to any civil discussion. You yourself suggested moving on and that is what I have tried to do, by limiting myself solely to substantive comments. I am not sure about the status of the paragraph you proposed -- is this something that was meant solely to invite discussion, or something to put into the article?
