Emanuela Belleza

Hi Magiciandude,

Thank you for your help. I am new on Misplaced Pages and just trying to contribute. I hope this is the write space to message you. I was trying to upload a picture of Emanuela Bellezza and Juanes performing at the MTV Unplugged, but is was removed. Is there a license I need to obtain to upload it? Or how can I upload a picture from that performance?

Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emyskate1234 (talkcontribs)

ITN recognition for Juan Gabriel

On 30 August 2016, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Juan Gabriel, which you nominated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. The Rambling Man (talk) 11:20, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

A favor?

Hey Magiciandude!! Would you mind checking this out and perhaps leaving some comments? It would be much appreciated. Thank you so much! Carbrera (talk) 02:53, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

Hey again. I realized I just asked you for the previous favor, but could you also take a look at the featured article candidate for "Make Me Like You" by Gwen Stefani? It would mean the world to me as I'm willing to do anything for it to meet the required criteria. Thanks so much! Carbrera (talk) 22:08, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
@Carbrera: Sure thing. It might take a while for me to comment, but I'll do it. Erick (talk) 17:28, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

@Carbrera: Let me know when you have resolved Benderlite's comments so that I can give my support as well. Erick (talk) 20:06, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

I fixed his initial comments, which are you welcome to read. Thanks so much, this means a lot to me. Carbrera (talk) 00:28, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes I am done, for now. If anything else sticks out to you, please let me know. Your contributions have been extremely helpful! Regards, Carbrera (talk) 03:12, 14 September 2016 (UTC).

Removing the picture I already had approved!

What the heck. I gave justification, valid justification, followed the procedure and in fact it was approved!!!!And you come along and remove the photo. No wonder people don't like to help on here. I am following the rule. I am putting it back. SusanneSC (talk) 22:42, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Seriously Eric? No wonder wiki pages are old and outdated. No wonder people have lost interest in tying to keep pages updated or create new ones. I am following the rules but some people would prefer to leave pages old and outdated with non-functional links than have some one dedicated to putting them right. I have had to battle for every little thing. I read the rules, I followed the steps but god forbid someone has to come along with their own opinion of a very complicated law. I have read it and what I chose as rationalization and category for the photo is correct. I recall I had a bot revert my entire page back because I provided an external link to Pedro's Facebook page. So I looked and sure enough if you are "famous" enough, that's okay. No bot is removing them. What a hypocritical place, bureaucrats in their ivory towers! I was on the List of performing artists at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival page correcting the flags for Pedro and DaddyYankee, now there is a page that is an utter mess! I suppose if I tried to clean it up someone would come along and say I was doing it wrong. So let it sit, ugly as it is. I am doing this part time with a heavy work schedule and for one single reason, to have correct and one day complete information on a very important and influential Mexican artist. @SusanneSC: Please read WP:NFCC, non-free images of living persons are not allowed, because they can easily be replaceable with one that's available for the public domain. I made the same mistake when I was new to Misplaced Pages, so don't think I'm singling you out. There are several images of Pedro Fernandez available on WikiCommons making uploading non-free images unnecessary. Non-free images for biographies are mainly for those who are deceased and have no public domain image available. If you have images of Pedro Fernandez that you own (images that you have took pictures of), you can make public domain on WikiCommons. Also, when you upload an non-free image, it should only be used in the article it was intended for, because a rationale is needed for why it needs on the article. Also, did you notice the template I created for Pedro Fernandez. Erick (talk) 01:28, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

Do you think I haven't looked? Do you think I have gone to see him in person and taken a picture of him? Forget it. Leave it blank. I offered the work to him as a birthday gift just today and you people have ruined everything. SusanneSC (talk) 02:32, 18 September 2016 (UTC) @SusanneSC: I am trying to help you out here, but if you're going to berate me, then I have nothing else to say. Erick (talk) 02:43, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

I am trying to make someone listen, I read the rules. I give up, the entire process here is not conducive to work in or continue effort. Read how many people have left or stopped editing altogether lately. Is it any wonder? I have a real career and this was something special but I won't be beat up over it either. Life is to short.
