Based on several sections What Misplaced Pages Is Not, it is generally agreed that topics in most areas must have a certain notability in order to have an article in Misplaced Pages.
Several guidelines have been created, or are under discussion, to indicate what is and is not notable.
Articles on non-notable subjects are frequently nominated for Proposed Deletion and Articles for Deletion, and are frequently deleted via those processes.
