Hello, I'm JimRenge. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gautama Buddha, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. JimRenge (talk) 19:40, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Kingdom of Nepal, did not appear constructive and have been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Misplaced Pages, as you did to Gautama Buddha. Misplaced Pages is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Misplaced Pages uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. JimRenge (talk) 12:34, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pant (surname), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:12, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Pant (surname). This contravenes Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 21:32, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Pokharel. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 21:33, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. Misplaced Pages is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Yama Buddha seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. As with the previous notifications, this change was unsourced and fails our policy regarding neutral point of view. Please review the aforementioned links and policies before making any further changes to Misplaced Pages articles. Thank you, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:07, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
Some Information
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hasti Dal Shah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Amar Singh Thapa. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Hi, I'm Kudpung. Thapa Kazi999, thanks for creating Budhhi Karna Raya Khewang!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. To avoid deletion, clean up language to Standard English, provide some biographical content, information about countries - this is the English Misplaced Pages,and it is read world-wide, and provide some references other than blogs which are not allowed
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 04:00, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

- The first problem with the article is that it has been copied, nearly word for word, from here: . As such, I have deleted the article as copyright violation. Even if the copyright were cleared, I would have probably nominated the article for deletion; it was rather promotional in nature.
In addition, the original article's information is suspicious, to put it mildly. Throughout the first five paragraphs it uses the era suffix "BS", but "BS" refers to Bengali Era which is counted from 594 or 593 CE. So the years are probably of the common era - but then the article suddenly talks about his achievements in "2023 BS"! (Unless it is a Freudian slip - the abbreviation BS also has a different, rather unflattering meaning.) Finally, the article contains a list of achievements which has probably been copied from somewhere, some even dating from before he was born.- Mike Rosoft (talk) 06:06, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
I apologize for suspecting that your article was a hoax; as you have told me, BS (or VS) actually refers to Vikram Samvat. But the problem with the article remains: it has been very closely copied from . (All Misplaced Pages articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-alike License. You can't release text whose copyright is held by somebody else; not unless the true copyright holder agrees to the licensing.)
The other problem is that there were no references for his achievements. (See the policy of verifiability.) I was in fact able to find a reference mentioning him receiving the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu award - and I agree that receiving a high state decoration is more than sufficient to avoid speedy deletion under the criterion WP:CSD#A7. For the rest, I wasn't as lucky. In particular, the article claims that he was named "Man of the Year" in 2002. It isn't even clear exactly which award this refers to; it certainly isn't Time Person of the Year. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 17:08, 13 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I'm not exactly sure how to do that myself, but I encourage you to ask at Misplaced Pages:Help desk, where somebody surely will! Katharineamy (talk) 19:35, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Regarding your help desk question
See Help:Interlanguage links for information on how to link different-language versions of an article together.--My Chemistry romantic (talk) 08:35, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
- Please re-read Help:Interlanguage links - you should be editing the languages section at the bottom of the left hand column, not adding text to the page. I have done Alastair Cook, and another editor has done Bamsa Raj Pandey could you please do the rest - thanks - Arjayay (talk) 15:39, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
- I see that, despite my explaining that this is NOT the way to add interlanguage links you have continued to add them, and have not corrected the links you previously added, as I requested above. Please correct these before I revert them - thanks - Arjayay (talk) 15:16, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thapa Kazi999, I have copied your post at my talk page, to keep this convsersation together:-
- Sorry, I couldn't exactly get you. Where was the mistake and which article? I would look to rectify. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thapa Kazi999 (talk • contribs) 16:23, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- I checked the upper left button of language interlinks of the article and it linked to counterpart article in other languages exactly. How was it mistake and where?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thapa Kazi999 (talk • contribs) 16:32, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thapa Kazi999, I have copied your post at my talk page, to keep this convsersation together:-
- The "mistakes" are in almost all the articles you have edited since 08:48, 22 October 2016 by adding ] to the article page.
As explained at Help:Interlanguage links "Before Wikidata, interlanguage links had to be recorded in the text of the page itself." however this is not the way it is done now.
As I explained above "you should be editing the languages section at the bottom of the left hand column, not adding text to the page". so please remove the interlanguage links you have added to these pages and add them at Wikidata.
- The "mistakes" are in almost all the articles you have edited since 08:48, 22 October 2016 by adding ] to the article page.
- To explain the wikidata more clearly, if we look at Yogeshwar Amatya (where I removed your link) click the languages tab art the bottom of the left hand column. This opens Wikidata, the fourth option up from the bottom is
- Misplaced Pages(1 entry) edit
en Yogeshwar Amatya
- Misplaced Pages(1 entry) edit
- Click "edit" in that little box and you get the English entry and one that starts "wiki". overwrite the "wiki" with "ne" for Nepali, and add the Nepali title and save. This will add it to the language links.
For Yogeshwar Amatya this does not seem to have an advantage, at the moment, as it is only in Nepali and English, but Alastair Cook is in eight languages, and by adding the link to the Nepali version at Wikidata, you will have added the link to all the other pages - so if you go to the French version of Alastair Cook you can see that that links to the Nepali version as well. If Alastair Cook is written in another language in the future, and added to Wikidata, that will link to all the other existing languages, without each one having to be added to every other article - Arjayay (talk) 17:07, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- To explain the wikidata more clearly, if we look at Yogeshwar Amatya (where I removed your link) click the languages tab art the bottom of the left hand column. This opens Wikidata, the fourth option up from the bottom is
Arjayay, you can check the linkage done by me of articles Bacchu Kailash and बच्चु कैलाश बहादुर बस्न्यात whether it is correct or not. And I couldn't link Yogeshwar Amatya with योगेश्वर अमात्य as it told that ID for both are different. How did that happen and how to rectify it??
- The links at Bacchu Kailash and the reverse link back to English at बच्चु कैलाश बहादुर बस्न्यात appear correct. As for Yogeshwar Amatya I tried to see what the problem was, but it gave me the simple drop down with only two boxes, I added "ne" and "योगेश्वर अमात्य" and saved - this seems good as it added the Nepali option to the English article and going to the Nepali article this now links back to the English one. So I don't know what the problem was. - Arjayay (talk) 07:57, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Thapa Kazi999. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Leeladhwaj Thapa, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Misplaced Pages articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Misplaced Pages article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Misplaced Pages's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Misplaced Pages's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 08:30, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Dhanush Chandra Gautam
Hello Thapa Kazi999,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dhanush Chandra Gautam for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. RollingFace99 (talk) 09:30, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
