He is the current co-president with his wife Annie Laurie Gaylor of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, an American Freethought organization that promotes the separation of church and state. He is the author of Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist (ISBN 1-877733-07-5). He has a daughter named Sabrina Dela(h) Gaylor, like her mom and grandmom. From her mom's side of the family, she's a fourth generation Atheist born on September 1989. Her grandma from five generations ago from her dad's side was a full-blooded Native American, and "Dela" means reason in their language. She's also a member of this group.
