Britney Ever After is a 2017 American television drama film directed by Leslie Libman and written by Anne-Marie Hess. It is based on the life of Britney Spears. The film stars Natasha Bassett, Peter Benson, Clayton Chitty, Nathan Keyes and Nicole Oliver. The film premiered on Lifetime on February 18, 2017.

Plot

A healthy happy radiant Britney Spears is shown preparing to attend the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas and along with members of her family and some of her entourage, are shown being interviewed about her rise to fame, relationship to Justin Timberlake, her 2 marriages (one annulled and one ended by divorce) the birth of her sons and Britneys well publicised 2007 breakdown and her subsequent comeback. Britney went on to win 3 major awards at the 2008 VMAs sealing the rebirth of her career with her proud manager and parents looking on.

The show concludes by fastforwarding to 2015, and shows Britney at the end of her first night of her piece of me residency show at Caesers Palace being applauded by the crowd as she waves. Britney can then be heard being asked 'if you had to do it all over again, would you give it all up? and answers 'its who I am and all ive ever known, I hear the crowd and I want them to be happy! I mean shoot! we all want to be happy'
