Misplaced Pages's LGBT Community

Hi, Coredesat!
You've indicated through various means (a userbox, membership in a category, etc) that you are part of the Misplaced Pages LGBT community, or are interested in Misplaced Pages's LGBT related pages. Welcome!

You may not know that Misplaced Pages has both an LGBT Notice Board and an LGBT Studies WikiProject. If you haven't yet done so, take a look at both of them. They sorely need attention and participation!

Some things on the "To-Do List" that merit particular attention include:

  1. Identifying topics/pages that need attention
  2. Identifying problems that need addressing
  1. Adding the LGBT template to appropriate pages
  2. Categorizing LGBT pages

Please feel free to participate in any or all of these activities! And if you feel like it, add yourself to either the Noticeboard Members or the WikiProject Participants - or both!

Glad you're a part of Misplaced Pages - and Thanks! This invitation posted here by SatyrTN -- talk
Please remove it if you so desire.

Re:Sig

Dude, leave me alone and stop messing with me on my sig. I shortened it out to a screwed-up stubby signature and tried to keep things to a minimum, and also ya can't boss me around on my sig. — § Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody (T + U + E + C) - (Remembering 9/11) 01:08, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Glenn McGrath

Hi there. The IP edit is actually true. It should be sourced but that is actually well documented. That sort of stuff is a sad fact of cricket, and from time to time, is picked up in the stump microphone. Could you remove the wraning please? Thanks, Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 05:51, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

National City Page

I am inputting valuable contact information it is not spam..... (removed contact info --Coredesat talk!)

Reply-Ok, I'm sorry about putting it on here. Although I do believe that phones numbers to bank should not be considered spam but valuable information, which is what wikipedia users come here for. Not just for an extremely basic encyclopedia article and investor info...that's all.

My RFA

Thank you, Coredesat, for voting on my RFA, which passed 95 to 1. Now that I have the mop, I hope I can live up to the standard, and be a good administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. —this is messedrocker (talk) 18:10, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi there, Coredesat!

Thank you so much for supporting my RfA! It ended up passing and I'm rather humbled by the support (and a bit surprised that it was snowballed a day early!). Please let me know if I can help you out and I welcome any comments, questions, or advice you wish to share.

Stop!

Stop appearing on my watchlist while you're supposed to be asleep! Heh. Your thoughts welcome at Talk:1927 Nova Scotia Hurricane over the grading of the article - it's the one we discussed yesterday on IRC. – Chacor 13:36, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Four Square

It was not a test... You really need to be more responsible in your reverts. 64.131.30.48 06:38, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

-Well sure it is uncited, but so are the other variants in that section. The rules are not writen down anywhere but merely understood. 64.131.30.48 06:43, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Re:RfC

Then where do I state my case on the RfC??? — Alastor Moody (T + C + U) 22:38, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Commercial Links

You have removed a link to Nelsons Boats from the Copeland Islands page. However, Nelsons Boats runs the only licensed passenger boat service to the islands. The only other way of getting for the public there is by private boat. This means you hgave a page describing the islands, the wildlife etc but no indication of how anyone can travel there or gain access.

I understand the care required regarding commercial links but any links to any form of commercial transport would be banned as the only type it is sensible to mention are those that are licensed and therefore commercial.

somerset college

okok im sorry right but eriously i dont think you know the school, they treat the students as if they are dogs, and the headmaster doesn't know any of the pupils and is so wrapped up in himself that he parks right in the middle of the quad in front of the admin so he doesnt have to walk from the carpark to his office, this is when he actually bothers to turn up to the school hes SUPPOSED to be running. im vvery sorry 4 any inconvenience caused, but please understand my frustration.

September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade
Here in Misplaced Pages there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Misplaced Pages:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.
