A gimp suit is a fetishistic garment designed to cover the body completely (usually including the hands and feet) and to be very close-fitting. It often has an attached hood; if not, it will be worn with a bondage hood or gimp mask. It may be made from rubber, PVC, spandex, darlex or leather, although leather (not being stretchy) cannot be as close-fitting as the others.

It differs from a catsuit, unitard or zentai more in its purpose than its appearance. It is used in BDSM to objectify the wearer and reduce them to the status of a sexual toy, rather than a sexual partner. Unless there are suitably placed zips, the genitals will be inaccessible while the suit is worn.

A extreme Variation of the suit is worn in the Movie: The People Under The Stairs.
